Here are some facts from a brief article in The Compleat Mother (#64, Winter, 2001).  The article is old. The facts are still valid.

    * In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.

1.Good: Drink more water! Our bodies are almost completely made up of water, and water is the conductor of the electrical impulses that are the prerequisite of all physiological, mental, emotional, and physical function.
Better: Drink water filtered to .6 micron. Some filters literally kill the water, filtering out everything and leaving it empty. Water has a tendency to balance itself, dead water will pull trace minerals from your body to balance.

2.Breath deeper! We know that many diseases, including cancer cannot survive in an oxygen rich environment. We also know that most americans only bring in about 1/7th of what they are actually capable of inhaling in a single breath.
Learn about breathing and how it relates to your health. Read up, or take classes. As a member of this site, you will even have all the work done for you. In addition to whatever personal and individualized coarse of action you and your personal wellness trainer determine, you will have access to specific book lists, online or local classes, exact web sites and more. The information will be presented as you request it so that you are never overwhelmed.
Make breathing deeply part of your typical way of being. Practice everyday, all day until you no longer need to even think about it anymore.

3. Learn about your body pH! Many diseases cannot survive in an alkaline environment. As a member of this site, your screening will give you specific information about your body and how to balance you pH, and so much more!

4. Learn the connection between calcium and digestion! Today multitudes of Americans seem to think it is normal to suffer from all sorts of various problems that occur between the mouth and the anus. 5. Limit or eliminate processed foods! In general, fast food and chain restaurants, boxed and packaged foods, instant foods, frozen foods. Specifically, partially hydrogenated oils, antibiotics, hormones, preservatives, nitrites, nitrates, BHT, BHA,  high-fructose corn syrup, artificial colors/flavors/etc. The closer you can get to pulling it out of the ground and eating it, the better. 6. Get your stressors under control!?!? YEAH RIGHT!
