Newsflash

Here are some facts from a brief article in The Compleat Mother (#64, Winter, 2001).  The article is old. The facts are still valid.

    * In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.
    * 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated.  (It is likely that this applies as well to half the world's population.)
    * Even mild dehydration slows down one's metabolism as much as 3%.

A Shower Filter Can Bring Joy to Your Life.       You'll Sing Better!   Lowe's Home Depot and your local home center all sell several models.
    * In a University of Washington study, a single glass of water shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters.
    * The #1 trigger of daytime fatigue is lack of water.
    * Research indicates that eight to ten glasses of water per day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
    * A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.
    * Drinking five glasses of water per day decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%,  the risk of breast cancer by 75%, and the risk of bladder cancer by 50%.

Another authority says: "Water is also the best medicine, both inside and outside the body. The finest prevention for malaise (after an evening of excess consumption!) is a pint of water before bed."

So what are you waiting for.  Drink up!

Have you ever been through a health screening that left you confused? How would you like to find out exactly what has your body the most stressed and receive simple instructions that you can follow to alleviate that stress? You know by now that your body is made of any incredible number of electrical circuits that control your muscles and such in your body. Did you know that there is a way for your body to speak directly to a computer! It happens at the speed of light. Over the course of fifteen to twenty minutes your body and our computer chat. Many of the same questions are asked over and over in different ways to confirm that the message was conveyed properly. At the end of the process, we get a printout of just what had your body stressed the most. By dealing with these stress items or stressors as we call them, we can help you eliminate the major stresses in your life.

ImageWhile we cannot make your life stress free, we can help you alleviate the major stresses you have now. Stress has a cumulative effect. If you don't do something to alleviate that burden, over time the weight of all that accumulated stress can rob you of the energy you need to stay healthy.

There are currently two methods of getting screened by the YBGI staff - in person or by hair sample over the web.

We call Houston home. We travel all over the US so you can be screened in person right now if you are in Houston or by checking the travel calendar.

If you don't have the time to track us down and schedule in person time with us, and we undestand just how busy your life is, complete the forms and mail us a hair sample and we can screen you from the information you submit over the web and the hair you send us!

Here they are in pdf format for you to print.

If you don't have Adobe Reader on your computer, you may download it free, here:
